Love is a lifestyle
Not just a freestyle
Full of empty words that carry less
weight than the smallest bird
Love is not the Hollywood version
Filled with perversion and lust
Sickening to the point of disgust
What confusion
The wold has bet a cheap copied illusion
of Real Love
Love can only come from above
It doesn't shove with impatience
Shout with anger
Lead into unwanted places of danger
Lord show me the way
Lord help me to stay with You
Love You, adore You,
Lord I implore You: give me the desire to explore
Your Word and not compromise
God I apologize
Show me so I can show the world true Love
Not the cheap imitation
One that becomes less valued over time
Due to inflation
God, real Love...show the whole world
How you feel
What's the deal with Your creation
God we're fakin' for real
What's the deal with me
See I know, because I wrote
A rhyme in time's past
About being a Christian pimp
The devil's imps tryin' to rule my soul
But God I'm holdin' strong and telling
Them You're in control of my soul
Whoa! Back up off me
You imps better see whose property
I am
I'm royalty because my Deity has
Given me that right
God thank-You for showing me
Love is a lifestyle not a simple
Freestyle full of sweet nothings
Reflecting mere bluffings of the Truth
God I'm calling from the roof
Of my frustration
That I be set free within me
And help me show Love to society
So all will at least see that
Love is not just some freestyle
Filled with empty words
As light as a newborn child
Love is a lifestyle
And I want to live it right
So when my life is through,
You can say:
Well done my good and faithful servant.
