I will stay strong;
Even though them around me say and do wrong,
I will stay strong.
I won't fall victim to lewd commentary
Even though their words are hurtful and scary
I will stay strong.
I will move on;
I have to disregard their ignorance and leave it alone.
I will move on.
I will disregard the things they say
And continue to do things HIS way.
I will move on.
I'll be steadfast;
Even though my enemies want to bring up my past
I'll be steadfast.
I will not go with the rest of the flock -
I will remain on the Lord, my rock.
I'll be steadfast.
I will not fall,
I have a strong foundation, so I will stand tall -
I will not fall.
Sometimes, I stumble, but don't fall down.
The Lord keeps me planted on solid ground -
I will not fall.
I will endure;
Though others may remain unsure,
I will endure.
Because I'll be steadfast and I'll stay strong,
I won't fall, and I'll keep moving on -
I will endure.
